2006 Faculty Grant Research Drs. Mark Evans and Steven Gamboa received KIE grant funding to explore the normative underpinnings of Adam Smith's "invisible hand" theory. Some of their findings can be found in "Virtues, Ethics, and the Introductory Economics Course," by Dr. Evans, published in Kern Economic Journal, 2007, and "Economics and Ethics: A Tale of Mutual Dependence" by Dr. Gamboa.
