Topics include data types, control structures, arrays and standard and file I/O. The mechanics of compiling, linking, running, and debugging and testing within a particular programming environment are covered. Ethical issues and the historical perspective of programming within the context of computer science as a discipline are addressed. Plagiarism Penalty: You will get 0 if copying each other is found, using other's assignment. Exams: All the exams (midterm, final) must be taken on time, except some unusual cases such as unexpected accident or sickness with the proper proof. January 13 : Last day to add courses, to change between audit and letter grading. January 27: Last day to change between credit/non-credit and letter grading.
