Abstract

Good Shot is a website that allow users to post pictures that were taken by themsleves. In this website, people will be able to share the great shots they have taken by their cameras or smartphones. In this website, people from all of the world will have their images posted in order for others to be able to see it and enjoy the art.

Information

In the home page, few images that were higly rated last week will be posted along with name of person who captured that picture. Also there would be the tournament announcements which could be offered from sponsors who are intersted in photographies. There is no need to sign in or sign up in order to be able to have access to the homepage

Front-end/Back-end Features

For now, in the front-end, I will be using html, bootstrap and CSS. Fot the back-end, I will be using php as the server side language, and MySQL for the DBMS.

User Actions

On Good Shot, people will have the ability to register with a prefered name in order to be able to have full access to the website. Once a visitor register an account, he/she will be able to upload pictures they have taken and give it a specific description. Other users will be able to rate that image and could add comments or feedback to the uploader. People are encouraged to participate in rating the images to motivate other users and provide better pictures. Users will be joining tournaments that were sponsored by others in order to win prizes or find jobs.

Design and structures

The design of the website would be a dark color which I haven't decide which one yet. Dark colors are prefered from many people special those who uses smart devices to not bother their eyes. On the other hand, the structure of the website is not available due to not figuring out how many pages the website would have.
