The Process of Azavoria

I have spent many this past semester building a world which I can relate to and fall in love with. I try to incorporate things I adore throughout history, with an emphasis on religious and cultural diversity. This week, I managed to finally decide on a specific part of my world to focus on, the center, the cultural hub for every nation and religion, as the land conforms circularly around it. Once I decided on the setting, I started to associate certain events with pieces of music, using choral pieces such as Dark Night of the Soul and Northern Lights by Ola Gjeilo, and a large portion of the album Quieter Than Silence, by Mohamed Zatari. Both of these musical themes take inspiration from different places, one being Catholic Latin Choral music and the other uses traditional, folk instrumentals from the Middle East. As a cultural hub, I intend to continue crafting more cultures within this area and bring more cultures to the forefront.
