Rebeca Manzo CMPS 2680-60 Final Project Proposal **************************************** The name of my website is kickaccess. The purpose of my website is to inform and entertain about sneakers and my connection to them. Sneakerheads, anyone interested in learning about sneakers, or those who want a look into my collection are a part of my target audience. Due to the number of pages being limited, I will choose a few pairs of my sneakers who will have their own page. There will also be a homepage and an about me page. Features within my website will include being a fully responsive website, a mini poll for each sneaker, comment section, hover animations, and images. I would like to incorporate scroll animation on the homepage, so I will attempt them. Visitors will be able to explore my sneaker collecton, view my top 3 wishlist, and engage in commenting/polls. The layout will be a mixture between the Bootstrap examples "Blog" and "Carousel." I am a little indecisive about the last 2 colors in my color scheme, but there are three I will definitely use: Davy's Grey, Platinum, and Bitter Lime. I want a dark overall view given the fact that what I am sharing has been in the dark for a while, but also bright colors that complement since it is coming to light. My website will have a top bar page navigation similar to the one in the "Blog" bootstrap example for the desktop and tablet views. For mobile, there will be a hamburger menu. There are a lot of sneaker blogs, but they mainly focus on analyzing sneakers in pop culture, announcing new releases or release dates, and some even sell sneakers. Some of these websites include Sole Collector, Hypebeast, Sneaker Freaker, and Kicks on Fire. Mine will be different, because I'm making it personal. The website will act as a virtual version or experience to MY collection (something I rarely show) while maintaining information typically found in blogs. My website will not have a traditional blog view.
