The name of my website will be " Law Offices of David M. Austin." It will be a website promoting and advertising my brother's law firm. The purpose of this website will have multiple goals. First, it will serve as a comparisonof the work I have completed to date in this class. My first project was also a website for my brother's business. Next, it will serve as a forum toshowcase my brother's legal skills and advertise his business. Lastly, it will serve as a template for the other members of my family who are professionals and have their own law offices(my father and another brother are both lawyers as well). The information on my homepage will have a header logo, menu options for navigation to at least two other pages, probably more, as i was thinking of making each header link to the different types of services offered, and basic iformation about my brother, the type of law he practices and possibly photo. At this point, some of the features im thinking of are: a page with a calendar to make an appointment, with prompts to confirm appointment and a form area to enter in the clients name. Also, contact us page with contact information for the business and an area to enter in the clients information and email address, with a comment box and possibly a google maps page showing the location of the business. Lastly a page which advertises all the different legal services offered. Once visitors reach my website I want them to be intrigued and have a positive view of my brother and his legal services. Based on this initial judgement, I want them to make an appointment and get in to see him as soon as possible. I want the visitors to navigate between the different pages, make an appointment on the calendar or send as their contact information. I think four total pages can accomplish this goal. Right now, I think I am going to use a basic bootstrap layout with a header and options to click, or navigat to different areas of the website within the header. W3 schools has some good starter point templates to choose from. Just not 100% sure on the overall theme as of yet. The colors I want to use are shades of gray, blue, black with white background. Again, I'm not 100% sure about this, as stylistic changes may occur as I go.There are numerous legal websites out there and multiple online resources to actually buy and make professional webpages with a lawyer theme. One of my favorite features I noticed on other sites is the header with links to each type of service offered. I will most likely implement this into my webpage.Another feature i really liked was displaying a picture related to each type of law practiced. For example, on the injury page, a picture of someone getting injured. My website will be similar to others in that it will look professional, convey imformation in a organized manner, will be visually pleasing to the eye, and will promote a business. My website will be different than othersbecause it will have a personal touch or feel to it, which will convey a professional, yet homely feel to it. Overall, my website will be informative and will be an excellent chance to showcase my web development skills, and possibly help a family member promote his business and earn more income. Also, it has the potential to be used by multiple other peoplefor their own personal businesses. Sample: http://cs.csub.edu/~saustin/cs2680/FinalProject/Home.html
