Today many students on campus spend a large quantity of money on gas and time trying to find parking. In order to help save gas, lower potential spending on car maintenance, and reduce the time spent on trying to find a place to park, we are going to implement a carpool application for the campus. To do this, we are going to use geolocation to allow students to quickly find other students who have similar routes and schedules to or from school. Once the students have connected with each other via the application, they will be able to easily organize an efficient carpool. In using this application, we hope students will save both time and money on their commute to and from school.
