Micky the Doxie was born on October 12, 2017 in Bakersfield, California. He is one of six littermates. In his litter, he had two brothers and three sisters. When Micky's mom reached out to the family who was selling his dachshund siblings and himself, he was the last pup of the litter left. I guess you could call it destiny.
Micky is one wild dachshund full of personality. His favorite pastime is playing fetch, which he learned how to do at about 4-5 months of his life. Although he isn't the most social doggo out there, Micky has a few doggo friends that he adores (even though he prefers hoomans). Some of his favorite humans are the tiny ones he calls his "cousins." Those are mom's nieces and nephews. As a pup, he followed them everywhere and learned to play with them. To this day, he knows his limits when it comes to his tiny humans.
Micky brings SO much joy to the humans in his life. His mom even got him certified as an Emotional Support Animal (ESA). Mom is super greatful for he lil ween. She gets crazy anxiety but just a bit of Micky's cuddles or playtime helps her tremendously. Micky the Doxie is more than just a pet, he is family.
