There isn't a better or worse tool. It depends on the Work needing to be completed and at what cost of time. Sewing cna be and endless pursuit where you don't get to the finished garment, and sometimes it can take years and even decades to finally get the project completed.It's not procrastination, it's about how you will go about hurrying up learning how to sew. There are certain tools peculiar to sewing but there are a lot of general purpose tools that can help you become more productiive, not only in sewing, but in just becoming better with using hand and power tools enabling you to make and build many of the things that will streamline you sewing adventure. So start collecting tools, and learn how to use the tool you collect

Some of my special electric, gas, and hand sewing tools include a welder, an acetylene torch, a 4-inch electric round-knife fabric cutter, and a snap-press for putting snaps on shirts as well as pants jackets, and other gear and accessories.
